Synopsis
Tsubaki is a girl who loves making her younger sister’s hair pretty every morning, but she doesn’t think that kind of style suits herself! On the day of her High School Opening Ceremony, after she failed to be the top student (who usually makes the ceremony speech), she finds herself sitting next to the actual top student of the 1st years, the worst rude guy ever, Kyouta. Because of his saying bad things to her she purposely cuts his hair. Kyota requests that Tsubaki pay him back “with her body” but Tsubaki pays him back by fixing his hair and making it even shorter! Afterwards, Kyota unexpectedly kisses Tsubaki and swears he’ll make her his woman.
Characters
Tsubaki Hibino is the main protagonist of Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu. She loves doing her little sister’s hair but doesn’t think the cute styles suit her at all. As a result, she braids her hair everyday and wears old-fashioned clothes and is often teased at school for this. Kyouta Tsubaki makes her his next “target”, and she ends up falling in love with him.
Kyouta Tsubaki
Kyouta is the top student in his class and dreams of becoming an astronaut. His father is a middle school teacher, and his mother walked out on the family when he was six. He used to have long hair, but Tsubaki cut it off in the first chapter while he was bullying her. He is well known around the school for being a huge playboy.
